El pianista jamaicano MONTY ALEXANDER nos presenta su último álbum titulado “Live at the Iridium”, grabado entre el 21 y el 23 de Mayo de 2004 en el Club de Jazz Iridium de Nueva York. Junto a sus inseparables HASSAN SHAKUR (contrabajo), MARK TAYLOR (batería) y como invitado de lujo el percusionista ROBERT THOMAS Jr., nos ofrecen un excitante disco de Jazz con mucho Swing, pero sin olvidar sus raíces en temas como “Happylypso/Funji Mama” de Blue Mitchell y en el tema reggae “Runnin’ Away” del líder de Sly and the Family Stone, Sylvester Stewart.
